Do you recognize these homes? Located at the corner of Main Street and Highway #3 in Manitou, these are the historical houses where social activist Nellie McClung once resided. Here, visitors from across Canada are being inspired by the spirit and legacy of Nellie McClung as a leading champion of women’s rights in our country. Even more reason to visit, a new artifact has been uncovered which shows the signature of Nellie McClung on the first petition she ever signed in 1893. This treasure has been hidden away for 126 years and is now available for viewing at @visitnellieshomes! The homes will remain open to the public until September 9, with tours available with advanced booking. #TMBpartner #nellieshomes #nelliemcclung #manitou
